We’re changing our name because for the next stage of our journey we want to have one that better reflects our values. Just kidding. Thanks to Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and over ten thousand other companies called Copilot, whenever someone in our community recommends us, we’ve become impossible to find. And we’re tired of answering support messages like this.

Today we’re also launching Assembly Assistant in beta. Assembly Assistant is an internal AI colleague that supports you with administrative tasks and some knowledge work. Now when you click on a client, the right panel is a new collaborative area where you can communicate with your team and with Assembly Assistant.

How is Assembly Assistant different from ChatGPT? It’s fully SOC 2 compliant and maintains data privacy/doesn’t train on your client data. It takes the client you’ve selected — and all relevant notes, custom fields, previous communication history, etc. — and helps you engage and respond to thme.

We’re building Assembly API-first, which means everything you see in the product is accessible programmatically and available through tools like Zapier and Make. Firms can build custom integrations and apps that fit their workflows instead of bending to off-the-shelf software.
